We are in the area of Teramo Hills, north of the region and one of the best production areas of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, home to the only DOCG (controlled and guaranteed origin appellation). A few kilometres from the sea, still surrounded by the climate and the Mediterranean forest but close to the extreme offshoots of Gran Sasso d’Abruzzo, there are Chiamami quando piove – Valori 14 hectares of vineyards.

These are small parcels articulated between the municipalities of Controguerra and Sant’Omero, characterized by southeast exposure and an altitude ranging between 160 and 300 meters above sea level. The medium sandy soils, poor in nutrients but rich in minerals, forcing the vines to the limit of cultivation, generate grapes of great quality and balance, in which the phenolic maturity is pushed to the maximum.

Si tratta di piccole particelle articolate tra i comuni di Controguerra e Sant’Omero, caratterizzati dall’esposizione a sud sud-est e da un’altitudine che varia tra i 160 e 300 metri s.l.m. I terreni mediamente sabbiosi, poveri di sostanze nutritive ma ricchi di minerali, forzando le viti al limite della coltivazione, generano uve di grande qualità ed equilibrio, in cui la maturità fenolica è spinta al massimo.
